WOOF_Taxonomy :: top_terms( Arguments $args = array() )

Returns:

An alias for the method WOOF_Taxonomy::top_level_terms and a preset on the method WOOF::terms to retrieve a collection of terms for this taxonomy which are at the top level of the taxonomy hierarchy.

This method uses get_terms to retrieve the terms, so you can further clarify this query with the args parameter.

Example:

Parameters:

  • Arguments $args = array()

    An arguments array or string, as used in the WordPress function get_terms, which uses the same defaults as that function, with the following default changes:

    • parent = 0

Plugin Requirements

MasterPress requires a minimum of WordPress version 4.9, MySQL 5.6, and PHP version 5.6.20.

We also recommend that PHP is configured to use a memory limit of 64MB per request (128MB may be required for sites with higher complexity).

This plug-in is not compatible with the WordPress.com hosted service.
