MEOW_Term :: query_incoming( Array / String $args = array() )

Returns:

  • WOOF_Collection of  MEOW_Post A collection of incoming posts matching the query specified. Note that since this method affects the main loop, and can therefore be used prior to the main WordPress loop, the return value may end up being ignored.

Retrieves all posts that are related to the this post by means of the Related Term field type, while also affecting the main query loop in WordPress. This method is a specialisation of WordPress’ query_posts method, and as such, it can take arguments that will further clarify the posts you want to retrieve.

Example:

Parameters:

  • Array / String $args = array()

    Either a string or array of query arguments as accepted by WordPress’ get_posts method.
    Note that this method will ALWAYS override the post__in argument, since technically it infers the IDs of the incoming posts first, and uses post__in to return them.

    The default values for other arguments are:

    • post_type = any
    • nopaging = true
    • posts_per_page = -1
