MEOW_Field :: __toString()

Returns:

An implementation of PHP 5’s __toString magic method, to allow this field to be echoed directly. This is a powerful concept in MasterPress, since this delegates to the the object representing the field type, which allows more appropriate behaviour for echoing fields. The most visible and notable example of this is the Image field type, which is setup to output an image tag by default, which is usually more useful than the url (which is the actual value stored).

Important: this method handles direct echoing of field values out to your templates, but this automatic conversion to a string does NOT happen when using the this field as a variable in an expression. This is where the MEOW_Field::value method must be used. See the example for the correct and incorrect way to use values in variables.

Note: this method is not intended to be called directly, use MEOW_Field::raw instead.
